Es ist wieder so weit! Unser gemeinsamer Open Space schafft einen Raum, in dem Menschen aus verschiedenen sozialen Bewegungen ihre Gedanken und Erfahrungen teilen, Beziehungen knüpfen und miteinander lernen können, u.a. wie Kollaboration funktionieren kann.

Unser Fokus-Thema diesmal: 

- Demokratische Gesprächskultur - 

Verurteilung, Respekt, Offenheit: Was brauchen wir (nicht)?

Meinungsverschiedenheiten gehören zur Demokratie. Dennoch verfallen wir bei immer mehr Themen in die Verurteilung unseres Gegenübers. Sind wir schon bei Dogmatismus, oder übertriebener Härte im moralischen Urteil? Manchmal ist ein klares Kontra aber wichtig! Wo kippen wir jedoch ins Verteufeln der anderen Position oder gar des anderen Menschen? Wie möchten wir gerne auch dauerhaft – in aller Meinungsvielfalt – miteinander leben? 

Möchtet ihr einen Workshop oder Redekreis halten? Oder euch spontan auf die entstehenden Gespräche einlassen? Wie auch immer ihr teilnehmen möchtet: Wir freuen uns auf euch!

📩 Leitet diese Einladung gerne weiter, wenn ihr möchtet, dass sich möglichst vielfältige Initiativen vernetzen und Kräfte bündeln.

🤲 Auch Helping Hands, die ein paar praktische Aufgaben vor oder während des Events übernehmen, sind hoch willkommen!

The next Cross-Movement Open Space is here! As usual, the event invites active members of social movements to share their thoughts and experiences, to make connections and learn from & with each other, also to find out how collaboration can succeed.

Our focus topic this time:

- Cultivating Democratic Discourse - 

Condemnation, Respect, Openness: What do we (not) need?

Differences of opinion are central to democracy. Still, there seems to be an increasing number of topics where we easily slip into condemning our conversation partners. Does that mean we are getting dogmatic? Sometimes clear opposition is important! But where do we slide into demonizing other views or even other people? Is there something about the harshness of moral judgement that we should look at? How do we wish to live together in the long run, with all the permanent diversity of opinions?

Would you or anyone from your team like to offer a talk or workshop? Or participate in the conversations? However you want to appear there: We’re looking forward to meeting you!
